The ACI42x range of readers provides an attractive reader in slim line or standard design supporting cards with secure Mifare Desfire EV1/EV2/EV3 security. In addition the reader provides for onboard Bluetooth (BLE) support. The ACI42x-PIN variants include a PIN keypad. The ACI42x range supports security from the card up to the controller when the controller supports the security features of the OSDP V2.17 standard and the Mifare Desfire EV1/EV2/EV3 cards are encrypted.
