The ATS1238 Advanced Wireless receiver expands the Advisor Advanced and Axon panels input capability by up to 32 zones using wireless PIRCam and 868 MHz Gen2 Wireless Sensors: i.e. PIR, Door contact etc. The ATS1238 is typically installed inside the large poly housing and connected to the MI bus interface of the Advisor Advanced and Axon panel. The ATS7072 is used with the ATS1238 to install up to 100 m away from the panel. The ATS1238 features spatial diversity to minimize wireless dead spots and has a nominal open-air receiving range of 400 m. If dead spots need to be eliminated, a 868 MHz repeater may be used for the 868 Gen2 devices only. The ATS1238 is EN50131 grade 2 and INCERT approved. Expanders provide information from remote locations to Advisor Advanced and Axon control panels in structured records. Data collected ranges from a wired input state to wireless or addressable device dates to a door state. Bus devices communicate with the control panel. If a failure in communication occurs, the expander remembers the last alarm in a system, preventing loss of an alarm due to a short interruption in data communication.
