The DC116 series features a wider make distance and works better on steel without time-consuming installation of brackets. A wider break distance helps prevent false alarms caused by loose fitting doors. The contacts are used to protect openings such as metal entry/exit doors, overhead doors, roof hatches or hinged skylights.
